Safe uploads and content security checks

Understand MIME checks, file safety validation and why an upload may need review.

Uploaded files are checked against their detected type, extension and configured size limits. These checks help prevent unsafe files from being served as images, videos or downloadable content.

An upload may be rejected when its declared extension does not match the detected MIME type, when it uses a blocked format or when security scanning cannot verify it safely. Do not rename an executable or archive file to make it look like an image.

Only upload content you have the right to share. If a safe file is rejected unexpectedly, try exporting it again in a standard supported format and contact support with the request ID instead of repeatedly submitting the same file.
